Terms of Service

Effective date: July 19, 2026

By using Toolism (toolism.app) you agree to these terms. They exist to keep the service free, fair, and legal for everyone — please read them; they are short.

The service

Toolism provides free browser-based utilities for working with video, images, audio, PDFs, and text. The service is provided free of charge and without a service-level guarantee: tools may change, be rate-limited, or be removed at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Toolism to:

  • process content you do not have the legal right to use, copy, or distribute;
  • download, convert, or redistribute copyrighted media without permission from the rights holder;
  • create short links that point to malware, phishing pages, or otherwise deceptive or illegal content;
  • attempt to disrupt the service, evade rate limits, or access it with automated bulk traffic;
  • violate any applicable law or the terms of service of a third-party platform.

Tools that interact with third-party platforms (such as the YouTube downloader) are intended for saving your own content, content you have permission to save, or content under a license that allows it (e.g. Creative Commons). You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with the platform’s terms and with copyright law in your jurisdiction.

Your content

You keep all rights to files you process with Toolism. We claim no ownership, we do not review your content, and — as described in the Privacy Policy — server-processed files are deleted immediately after your result is delivered.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Always keep a copy of your original files; we are not responsible for lost or corrupted output.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toolism and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service — which is zero.

Short links

Short links are created through third-party shortening services (CleanURI and is.gd) and are hosted by those services under their own terms. We cannot edit or delete a link once created, and links that violate the acceptable-use rules above may be disabled by those services at any time.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
