How to split a PDF online

Frequently asked questions
What page range formats are supported?
You can enter single pages, ranges, or any comma-separated combination — for example 1-5, or 1,3,5, or 2-4,7. Pages must fall between 1 and the document’s total page count, and the tool validates your input before extracting.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes — PDFs up to 200 MB are supported, which comfortably covers long reports and large scanned documents. Since processing happens on your own device, very large files simply take a little longer.
In what order are the extracted pages saved?
Pages are always extracted in their original document order, and duplicates are ignored. Entering 7, 2-4 produces a PDF containing pages 2, 3, 4, and 7 in that order.
Can I split a PDF into several separate files?
Each extraction produces one new PDF. To create several files — for example one per chapter — run the tool again with a different range; your source file stays loaded until you click Start over, so repeat extractions are quick.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
