About Senior High School Grade Calculator
Senior High School subjects do not all share one set of weights. Under DO 015 s. 2026 (Strengthened SHS, Grade 11 from SY 2026–27): core subjects and academic electives are 20% Written Work / 50% Performance Tasks / 30% Exam; Field Exposure, Arts Apprenticeship and Creative Production 15/70/15; Arts, Sports, Health & Wellness electives 20/60/20; Research and Design & Innovation 40/60 with no exam; TechPro electives 15/65/20; Work Immersion 20/80. Grade 12 in SY 2026–27 still follows DO 8 s. 2015 (core 25/50/25, academic-track subjects 25/45/30, immersion/research 35/40/25, TVL/Sports/Arts 20/60/20). How to compute a DepEd grade (DO 015 s. 2026)
- 1Choose the grading system — DO 015 s. 2026 (three terms, SY 2026–27) or DO 8 s. 2015 (four quarters) — and the learning area, which sets the Written Work / Performance Tasks / Exam weights.
- 2Enter the learner’s total raw score and the highest possible score for Written Work and for Performance Tasks. The percentage score (PS = raw ÷ highest × 100) appears next to each.
- 3For the exam component under DO 015, enter Summative Test 1, Summative Test 2 and the Term Exam — they are combined 30/30/40. Under DO 8, enter the Quarterly Assessment.
- 4Read the weighted scores, the Initial Grade and the transmuted Term (or Quarterly) Grade with its descriptor. Untick transmutation to preview the zero-based grading that starts SY 2027–28.
- 5Enter the three term grades (or four quarterly grades) in the Final grade box to get the final grade and pass/fail at 75.

Which system applies to Grade 12 this year?
For SY 2026–27, Grade 12 is not yet on the Strengthened SHS curriculum, so it keeps the DO 8 s. 2015 weights with the adjusted transmutation. Choose DO 8 in the calculator for Grade 12, DO 015 for Grade 11.
How is the Work Immersion grade computed?
Under DO 015: 20% Written Work + 80% Performance Tasks, no exam. Under DO 8 (academic track): 35% WW / 40% PT / 25% Quarterly Assessment; TVL/Sports/Arts immersion 20/60/20.
Is the passing grade still 75?
Yes — 75 is passing under both systems. Under DO 015 an initial grade of 70.00 transmutes to 75 in SY 2026–27.
