About Passport Size Picture Maker

This page opens the ID picture maker with passport size (35 × 45 mm, also written 4.5 × 3.5 cm) pre-selected — the size used for Philippine passport renewals at consulates, PRC boards that ask for "passport size", most visa applications (Schengen, UK, Japan, Korea, Australia) and many job applications. You get exactly 413 × 531 pixels at 300 DPI on a plain white background, as JPG under 2 MB or PNG.

Let the AI remove the background, or keep your own and just crop; add a print sheet on 4R (6 copies), A4 (30), Long or Short bond paper; and download. The DFA captures your photo on-site for new passports, so this is for the forms and renewals that still ask you to bring or upload one.

How to make a 2x2 or 1x1 ID picture online

  1. 1Upload a front-facing, head-and-shoulders photo in good light — a phone photo is fine. JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP are accepted.
  2. 2Choose the picture size: 2x2 in (PRC, CSC, NBI, school), 1x1 in (BIR, school), passport size 35×45 mm (DFA), or another preset.
  3. 3Keep "Remove background (AI)" with White selected for a plain white background, or switch to "Keep my background, just crop" if your photo already has one and drag the box over your head and shoulders.
  4. 4Optional: tick the name tag and type your name as "SURNAME, FIRST NAME M.I." — required for PRC and Civil Service exam pictures. Choose JPG and a size limit (e.g. under 2 MB) if you are uploading to a portal, and pick a print sheet paper if you will print.
  5. 5Click Make ID picture, check the preview, then Download picture (and the print-sheet PDF). Print the sheet at 100% / Actual size and cut along the grey lines.

Frequently asked questions

What is passport size in the Philippines?

Passport size means 35 × 45 mm (4.5 cm tall by 3.5 cm wide) — the ICAO standard. At 300 DPI that is 413 × 531 pixels. Note that "2x2" is a different, square size; check which one your form asks for.

Is a white background required?

For the DFA, PRC and nearly all visas, yes — plain white, no shadows, no patterns. Keep White selected and the AI places you on a clean white background; in crop mode the tool keeps whatever background your photo has.

Is my photo uploaded or stored?

In AI background-removal mode the photo is processed in a short-lived temporary file that is deleted the moment your picture is returned; in "Keep my background, just crop" mode nothing leaves your device. Nothing is kept, logged or shared.
